"How to share information more efficient with your external users"
We want to draw your attention to our solution specifically developed and designed for organizations and interest groups. Efficiency gains in the management of members, working groups, access control and the publication of information. This results in a lean administration of your organization.
On November 24th, Ometa organizes a seminar in Diegem, in Holiday Inn Brussels Airport. The theme of this seminar is “Bridge the information gap with your external users and members”. The seminar starts at 13h00 and we close the day around 17h00 with a network drink.
What and who can you expect at our seminar?
Jan Verwaest

Jan Verwaest will open the seminar and create an awareness about the points of attention when starting this kind of project. The purpose of this session is to share a full check list of concerns for everyone which starts with this new concept of working. He specifies typical objectives for this kind of projects such as the human aspects, the technical challenges, change management, control of ‘total cost of ownership’, etc…

Luc Deleu will demonstrate the various advantages from a functional point of view. Advantages of how information can be shared more easily by integrating the various information islands. This creates a decentralized maintenance model with a central storage to resolve typical problems such as the management of various Excel spreadsheets, the burden of having multiple contacts, the efficient ways of organizing mailing campaigns, the cost of template management, efficient digest mailing which not results in spam, etc…
Luc Verstrepen
SharePoint engineer at Ometa
Luc Verstrepen will prove that managing such a platform can be done without investing in a large IT organization. Based on the concept of ‘lean administration’, he will show how the work can be managed by the person which owns the information instead of delegating it to a back office. It creates a way of working that expands the autonomy of an information worker by delivering him or her efficient and user friendly tools to take this ownership. He can create cases, projects and working groups by himself, manage the users, roles and permissions. Even the publishing tasks can be managed without assigning these tasks to the office administration or secretary.
